EXAMINATIONS
The Cecchetti Institute is
neither an examining nor a certifying body.
As a teacher, Cecchetti worked with professional dancers, with a focus on enhancing their full range of artistic presentation. His classroom exercises and patterns were devised to simultaneously challenge technical mastery and develop stylistic expression, for the purpose of not merely strengthening but of stretching the artistry of each dancer as an individual.
This is the tradition which the Institute seeks to preserve and extend.
Those wishing to pursue accreditation are encouraged to contact other organizations
which offer examinations for both teachers and students, featuring set syllabi for young children through upper levels,
designed to progress to the level of Cecchetti's original work for professional dancers..
